Day 21: Urbana, IL. Rest Day. A nice relaxing rest day. I woke up earlier than I usually do for some reason, but I actually slept decently well. Maybe it was just because yesterday was so short. Anyway, today I didn't do too much. I biked around town a decent bit. First I went to a bike shop to buy a new kickstand (the old one broke yesterday morning). Then, I wandered around some, had a Thai lunch. I went and saw Charlies Angels: Full Throttle. It was really really bad. I mean, it had hot chicks and violence, the staples of modern cinema, but it lacked... well... everything else. I managed to bike 15 miles without really thinking about it today. Urbana is rather spread out. It seems Urbana is somewhat of a bike town. There are bike lanes in a decently large number of place, but for the most part people seem to ride on sidewalks. There are even some special divided sidewalks for bikes. For a city in the midwest, Champaign/Urbana really doesn't seem that bad. It feels mostly like a college town (because it is). The people seem nice enough. I could actually see living here, which is totally not something I would have expected. Not that I plan to or anything, but it is interesting to note.
