Day 10: Westfield, NY. Rest Day Today was a rest day. I woke up nice and late, then cleaned my stuff up a bit, and then wandered into town. Westfield is a pretty small town, with remarkably little of note as far as I can tell. I had a quick lunch (amazing how much less hungry I am when I'm not riding all day), then went to the public library for internet access. I tried to get the laptop hooked up to the net, but failed, so I had to settle for Mindterm to a dialup. However, I did manage to get another place to stay for two days from now: with Josh and his parents. Its fun to people watch sometimes. The kids playing games on the library computers were *funny*. I seem to be watching a lot of TV. It is really addictive somehow. It just fills the time when I should be doing other things. Even when there is absolutly nothing on. I think society might be a lot better without TV. I'm sure I'm not alone in this belief by a long shot. It would be interesting to be able to predict the effects of changes like lack of TV or lack of cars. I mean, I know it sounds really trite, but I do think about this sort of thing a bunch.
